Korean songstress IU will set off a concert tour throughout Japan later this month to promote her Japanese debut single "Good Day," according to her official Japanese website on Wednesday.
A message posted on her website says that IU will visit five cities in Japan, starting with the Tokyo leg of the concert on April 21.
She will then head over to Nagoya on April 24, Sapporo on April 26, Osaka on May 2 and wrap up her nationwide tour in Fukuoka on May 3, though the venues will be announced on a later date.
IU, whose real name is Lee Ji-eun, made her debut with her first mini-album "Lost and Found" in September 2008. She has since produced a number of hit songs such as "Boo," "Marshmallow" and "Nagging," a duet with 2AM member Seulong.
She recently expanded her singing career into Japan after signing a contract with EMI Music Japan in November last year. She dropped her Japanese debut album "Good Day,” which is composed of the Japanese version of her songs "Good Day" and "Raindrop," on March 21.
