Korean film "Secrets, Objects" starring actors Jang Seo-hee and Jung Suk-won has been sold to Hong Kong.
A press release by Jung's agency iMC said on Monday that Hong Kong's distributor Sun Dream Pictures bought the right to "Secrets" for showing in the country next year.
Sun Dream's decision came after commending Jang and Jung's acting and taking interest in the unique structure the movie takes on in how it tells about the unconventional love between a man and woman from the perspective of an object, the statement explained.
"I'm excited to meet with the audience in Hong Kong through this movie which is set to be released in that country," Jung was quoted as saying of the pic which was also screened at this year's Busan International Film Festival.
The movie's director Lee Young-mi said, "I'm encouraged everytime my 'Secrets, Objects' get response from overseas like this."
The statement then added that the movie is also seeking for a release in countries in Europe.
