Korean songstress IU has dominated various online real-time music charts with her new song, according to the respective websites on Tuesday.
IU's title track "You&I," from her second full-length album "Last Fantasy" which was unveiled yesterday midnight, made its way to the No. 1 spot on the online music charts of Cyworld, Daum, Naver, MelOn, Soribada, Mnet, Bugs, Dosirak and Monkey 3 today.
Meanwhile, several other tracks from "Last Fantasy" including "Secret," "Wallpaper," "Sleeping Prince," "Everything's Alright" and "Wisdom Tooth" made their debut within the top ten of the real-time charts as well.
"Last Fantasy" features collaborations with some of the top Korean musicians including Yoon Sang, Lee Juck, Kim Hyung-suk, Yoon Jong-shin and English singer-songwriter Corinne Bailey Rae.
In the meantime, IU is set to give her first performance of "You&I" on KBS' music program "Music Bank" on December 2.
IU, real name Lee Ji-eun, has been one of the most popular solo female singers in Korea since her debut in 2008 with several smash hit songs under her belt.
The songstress, who signed with EMI Music Japan, will also be expanding her singing career into Japan next month.
