English soul funk band Mamas Gun will hold their first concert in Korea next month, according to their promoter on Thursday.
A press release by Southern Star Entertainment said that the quintet will play at the V Hall in Seoul's Hongik University area on December 1 and 2.
This will not be the first time the group will visit Korea -- they took part in the Pentaport Rock Festival in August but have not held a concert in the country under their name before.
Mamas Gun, which debuted in 2009 through their first album "Routes to Riches," has been received well in both England and Japan.
In June of this year, they released their second album "The Life & Soul" in collaboration with popular pop artist Jason Mraz.
Mamas Gun is formed of leader and vocalist Andy Platts, bassist Rex Horan, drummer Jack Pollitt, pianist Dave Burnell and guitarist Terry Lewis.
