The last indie album by Korean rock band CNBLUE has topped Billboard Japan's music chart, according to the official website of Billboard Japan.
On Thursday, CNBLUE's "392" scored the No. 1 spot on Billboard Japan's Top Independent Albums and Singles chart during the second week of September.
"392" contains a total of 11 songs including all the songs from the singles they released in Japan as well as new songs while it had made its debut on Oricon's daily chart in third place upon its release on September 6.
CNBLUE, who recently signed with Warner Music Japan, will now go major in Japan on October 19 with their single album "In my head."
CNBLUE, composed of members Jung Yong-hwa, Kang Min-hyuk, Lee Jung-shin and Lee Jong-hyun, made their debut as an Indie rock band in Japan before breaking into the K-pop scene last year.
The boys will take the stage at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan as the opening acts for world-renowned rock group Linkin Park this weekend.
