World-renowned pianist George Winston will hold a live concert in Korea in June, according to the concert's promoter Artic.

On Thursday, Artic announced in a press release that the American pianist will take the stage to play some of his biggest hits including "Variations on the Canon," "Cat & Mouse," and "Rain" at Icheon Art Hall in Gyeonggi Province on June 25.

George Winston began his career by playing the organ after being inspired by The Doors in 1967 and created his own style of music in 1971 such as 'rural folk piano' or 'folk piano' which most of his pieces are based on that evoke the essences of reason and reflect natural landscapes.

He has released a number of albums and is famous for his season-based albums "Autumn," "December," "Winter Into Spring," "December," and Summer." He has also released two tribute albums to the late jazz pianist Vince Guaraldi, the composer of cartoon "Peanuts."

Ticket information for George Winston's upcoming concert in Korea is available on www.artic.or.kr.
