Korean singer Evan announces official activities in Japan

Korean singer Evan announced the official start of his activities in Japan last week, according to his agency EbyM Entertainment on Tuesday.

EbyM stated in a press release that the singer met with 11 media outlets in the country for back-to-back interviews, conducted last week between Wednesday to Friday, regarding the official start of his musical career in the country.

Evan, who had kicked off his singing career in the country through a concert in Tokyo in March, has been invited to sing during the "2010 Jingu-Gaien Fireworks Festival," which is hosted by the daily Japanese sports newspaper, on August 19.

He will then continue hold several solo concerts in October starting in Roppongi of Japan.

Evan made his debut in 1999 in the now-disbanded boy band Click-B. He continued with his solo music career in 2007 releasing several solo albums including his hit songs "Make You Cry" and "Anew."
