Seo Woo cast to star in horror TV movie

Actress Seo Woo has been cast as the female lead in an upcoming horror television movie, according to the show's broadcaster, MBN. MBN said in a press release on Wednesday that Seo will play a college student majoring in art named Jung-hwa in the TV movie titled, "Knock," slated to air in August. "Knock" will follow the story of incidents that happen around a magical mask that has been passed down from a shaman family. A murder occurs because of a couple's twisted relationship and Jung-hwa is somehow involved in it. "I've decided to take on the role of Jung-hwa because I was drawn to her mysterious characteristics. I'm also excited to return to the small screen in the new fantasy horror," Seo Woo was quoted as saying. Seo Woo made her film debut in 2008 film "Crush & Blush", for which she won Best New Actress from several Korean film awards.
