Ballad group 2AM’s member Lee Chang-min has been set to pull back the curtain to make his debut as a musical actor in July.Lee has been tapped to play one of the main roles in the musical La Cage (Original title: La Cage Aux Folles), set to open at the LG Art Center starting July 4, an official from AGA told 10Asia in a phone interview. Based on the 1973 French play of the same name by Jean Poiret, the title of the local show has been shortened to "La Cage" from "La Cage Aux Folles," to make it easier for people to memorize, according to the publicist.Lee, who is one of the strongest vocalists in 2AM and in the country, will play a character named Jean-Michel, a man grown under same-sex parent, George and Albin. Along with Lee, MBC’s big hit “The Moon Embracing the Sun” star Lee Min-ho has been cast to play Jean-Michel as well. The singer and actor made his debut as a ballad artist in 2AM with Jo Kwon, Seulong and Jinwoon with the debut single “This Song” in 2008.2AM's "I Wonder If You Hurt Like Me" from the latest release "F.
