Kim Ha-neul in talks to star in upcoming SBS TV series with Jang Dong-gun

Korean actress Kim Ha-neul is highly likely to play the female lead in an upcoming SBS TV series, according to her agency AM Entertainment on Wednesday. An official with AM told 10Asia over the phone that Kim was recently offered the role in SBS' drama "Dignity of a Gentleman" (translated title) set to premiere in May, adding that she is looking into it in a positive light. If Kim takes on the role it will mark her comeback to the small screen in nine months after last starring in MBC's "Road No. 1" alongside actors So Ji-sub and Yoon Kye-sang. "Gentleman," written by "Secret Garden" scenarist Kim Eun-sook, will tell the love story of men in the forties. The series will also star actors Jang Dong-gun, Kim Suro, Kim Min-jong and Kim Min.
