2PM Nichkhun to make big screen debut in Thailand

K-pop idol Nichkhun of boy band 2PM has landed a role in a Thai omnibus film, according to his agency JYP Entertainment (JYPE). On Monday, JYPE announced in a press release that Nichkhun will make his big screen debut with a role in Thailand's film production company's GTH's 7th anniversary project which cranked in earlier this month. Nichkhun will play a character that is looking for the meaning of life and love in the omnibus film which will circle around three different storylines about life and love. "I am working hard on this film since it was my dream to become an actor. I feel more and more ambitious every time I go on set and I hope to show a different side of me through this film," Nickhun said in the statement. Nichkhun, whose full name is Nichkun Buck Horvejkul, is a Thai-American singer who was discovered and trained by JYP Entertainment. As one of the members of 2PM, they recently wrapped up their Asia tour where they performed in several countries throughout Asia including Taiwan, China, Singapore and Malaysia.
