Korean rock band CNBLUE will perform on an acoustic music program for MTV Japan next month, according to their official Japanese website on Tuesday. Their website showed that CNBLUE will be featured on the live acoustic show "MTV Unplugged" which will take place at the Billboard Live Tokyo on January 31 of next year. “MTV Unplugged” is a live TV show which features performances by artists playing acoustic instruments. A number of famed artists have performed on the show such as Nirvana, Oasis, Bon Jovi and The Stone Temple Pilots. "It is a great honor to be a part of a show that has had many famous musicians and we are nervous but we will do our best for our upcoming performance," the members of CNBLUE said on their website. In the meantime, CNBLUE will release their second major Japanese single "Where You Are" which will become available on February 1. It is composed of the title track of the same name and two additional songs which is written by leader Yonghwa and Jonghyun. CNBLUE, which stands for Code Name Blue, has been a successful and popular band in the K-pop scene as well where they made a debut in early 2010.The boys, who signed with Warner Music Japan, released their first major Japanese album "In my head" which recently became certified gold after selling over 100,000 copies in just a month of going on sale on October 19. They recently completed their nationwide concert tour in Japan which attracted several thousand fans.
