YG unveils 1st member to new girl group

A photograph of Kim Eun-bi, one of the members to YG Entertainment's new girl group, has been unveiled.The photo was revealed through YG's official blog on Monday, showing Kim who had signed with YG after appearing on cable music channel Mnet's singing competition program "Superstar K2" last year.An official with YG explained, "We have a rough outline of what the girl group is going to be like although we haven't made a final decision on the members yet."She then added, "The style that Kim is dressed in inside the photo cannot be considered what the style of her girl group will be."Much attention is being drawn to the group which is set for a debut during the first half of next year due to YG's success in discovering and training Big Bang and 2NE1, two of the strongest idol groups in the K-pop industry.The upcoming group drew interest again when recently, YG said in an interview that the girls will be composed of five to seven members between the ages of 15 to 19 and have been banned from getting plastic surgery in consideration of their young ages.※ Any copying, republication or redistribution of 10Asia's content is expressly prohibited without prior consent of 10Asia.
