2PM to appear in self-named reality show

Boy band 2PM will appear in a reality show set to premiere next month, according to the executive director of the show's broadcaster SBS Plus.Huh Yoon-mu of the cable channel told 10Asia on Wednesday that the boys will star in the "2PM Show," set to go on air on the first week of July, where they will compete to win a new mission each episode.In the first episode of the show, being shot tomorrow, 2PM will split into teams and compete to be picked the best dad for the popular Mason brothers, three boys under the age of five, Huh explained.They will compete for various types of missions throughout the show's run including singing, dancing and physical strength, Huh added."2PM Show" will also show on cable channel SBS E!TV starting the same week.2PM, composed of members Nichkhun, Wooyoung, Junho, Chansung, Junsu and Taecyeon, have been one of the most popular boy bands in Korea and several other countries in Asia since their debut in 2008.They are gearing up for their comeback to the local music scene with their second full-length album due out on June 21.※ Any copying, republication or redistribution of 10Asia's content is expressly prohibited without prior consent of 10Asia.
