This product contains 300 mg of lime peel extract, an individually approved ingredient by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety recognized for its potential to support sleep health, as its main ingredient. With its liquid formulation for convenient intake, the company aims to capture the needs of the 2030 generation and enhance brand recognition within Olive Young's sleep care category.
Baek Inyoung, Head of the Healthcare Business Division at Daewon Pharmaceutical, stated, "The main ingredient in Kkuljam Shot, lime peel extract, is a safe, plant-based ingredient derived from the peel of limes. Human application studies confirmed significant results related to improved sleep quality, such as increased total sleep time, reduced time to fall asleep, and improved sleep efficiency. On this basis, it was recognized by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety as an individually approved health functional food."
