INOX Advanced Materials, a specialty materials company, announced on March 3 that it will target the defense industry market by supplying core materials for circuit boards used in the guided weapon systems of leading domestic defense companies.
INOX Advanced Materials has begun supplying samples of bonding sheets and coverlays, which are circuit board materials for guided missiles, through circuit board manufacturers to major domestic defense companies.
The materials supplied this time are key components responsible for the lamination, insulation, and protection of internal circuit boards in guided missiles. As materials used in defense systems that serve as the "brain" of precision strike systems, they must maintain flawless circuit board performance even in harsh environments such as extreme temperature fluctuations and strong external shocks, making top-level durability and reliability essential.
INOX Advanced Materials has already supplied materials to SpaceX for several years, and with this supply, the company has once again demonstrated its advanced material technology capabilities in the field of cutting-edge precision rocket materials.
