Starship Entertainment announced on March 3 that IVE member Gaeul will be joining the Netflix variety show "Death Game: Bet 10 Million Won" as a new player.
Netflix will release episode 7 of "Death Game" at 5 p.m. on March 4. In this episode, Gaeul will face off in a one-on-one match against divorce attorney Yang Narae. Attorney Yang previously achieved one victory in episode 6.
"Death Game" is a brain survival program where the outcome is decided in a single match each week. Alliances are not allowed, and participants rely solely on their individual abilities. The winner receives 10 million won. Since its premiere in January, the show has drawn attention for its psychological battles among the cast.
Gaeul recently participated in writing the lyrics for "Odd," a track from IVE's second studio album. On her personal YouTube channel, "Gaeul's Temperature," she has also showcased her interest in mystery novels.
IVE, the group Gaeul belongs to, is currently promoting their second studio album "REVIVE+." The title track "BANG BANG" reached number one on major music platforms and achieved four music show wins.
