Korea Deloitte Group announced that it will hold an online event, the "India Investment Entry Webinar: Investment Strategies for Sustainable Growth (Doing Business in India)," on March 10, targeting executives of domestic companies as well as those in charge of investment, finance, and tax. The event aims to help Korean companies comprehensively review the Indian investment environment and policy changes at once, and to establish practical investment strategies.
This webinar is designed for executives and investment, finance, and tax professionals at companies considering entry into India or already operating local businesses there. It will provide practical insights on the overall Indian investment environment, merger and acquisition (M&A) and initial public offering (IPO) trends, key policy directions of the Indian government’s 2026 budget, principal considerations from the perspective of global employers, and essential tax factors for Korean companies investing overseas. Through this, participating companies are expected to deepen their understanding of the Indian market and explore more stable and sustainable growth strategies by preemptively checking investment structure design, as well as regulatory and tax risks.
The webinar comprises a total of five sessions. Vivek Gupta, Deloitte India M&A Leader, will provide an overview of investment in India and introduce the latest M&A transaction trends, analyzing investment flows across major industries. Next, Ha Sungho, Leader of the Global IPO Group at Deloitte Anjin, and Sunder Iyer, Deloitte India IPO Group Leader, will explain trends in the Indian IPO market, listing procedures, and key regulatory issues. Tejasvi Anand, Deloitte India Tax & Incentives Leader, will discuss major policies in the Indian government’s 2026 budget and tax incentives for foreign-invested companies, focusing on how policy changes affect investment strategies. In addition, Hyukki Kwon, Partner at Deloitte Anjin Global Employer Services (GES), will address personnel management issues to consider when entering India from a global employer perspective, and Lee Shinho, Leader of Deloitte Anjin’s International Tax Team, will outline overseas investment structure design and key international tax issues.
This webinar will be held online from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on March 10. Those who wish to participate can apply through the "Pre-registration Application" section on the Deloitte website. The access link will be provided separately only to registered participants.
