The Male Volunteer Patrol Unit of Ssangnim-myeon, Goryeong County, North Gyeongsang Province, held the inauguration and retirement ceremony for the patrol captain on February 27 at the Ssangnim-myeon Office auditorium, with approximately 20 members in attendance.
The event began with an opening ceremony, followed by the introduction of distinguished guests, epaulet presentation, inaugural and farewell addresses, the presentation of appreciation plaques, congratulatory remarks from guests, and the introduction of executive members. The ceremony concluded in a solemn yet harmonious atmosphere.
In particular, the occasion was an opportunity to express gratitude to the outgoing captain, Choi Yoonsoo, who led the Ssangnim-myeon Male Volunteer Patrol Unit for the past three years, as well as to share support and high expectations for the new captain, Lee Uncheol.

In his inaugural address, the newly appointed captain, Lee Uncheol, stated, "I deeply appreciate Captain Choi Yoonsoo for his dedicated service and strong sense of duty," and added, "With a profound sense of responsibility, I will strive to ensure the safety of Ssangnim through active crime prevention activities."
Kim Seongpil, head of Ssangnim-myeon, said, "I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to former captain Choi Yoonsoo and all the volunteer patrol members for their dedication to the safety and unity of the community during his tenure. I hope that, going forward, under the leadership of the new captain, Lee Uncheol, you will continue to play a pivotal role in the unity and development of the region."
