2026 National Human Rights Statistics Production and Analysis Research Project
The National Human Rights Commission of Korea has initiated an advanced statistical analysis project to secure foundational data necessary for promoting human rights policies.
On March 3, the Commission announced that it will be conducting the "2026 National Human Rights Statistics Production and Analysis Research Project." The research project bid was announced on the Commission's website and the national procurement platform from February 20. Proposal submissions will be accepted from 10:00 a.m. on March 13 until 10:00 a.m. on March 24.
Since 2019, the Commission has been pursuing the National Human Rights Statistics Project. Following the National Human Rights Statistics Framework, it has identified and organized human rights-related statistics from nationally approved statistics, administrative data, and surveys such as the "Human Rights Awareness Survey." As a result, as of last year, a total of approximately 400 national human rights statistics have been established.
Through this research project, the Commission aims to enhance the national human rights statistics identified last year and, based on this, prepare a report that comprehensively analyzes the human rights situation in Korean society.
