"Bitgaram Dorandoran Class" Held for 50 Local Residents
The Korea Arts Council announced on November 27 that it held the winter semester of the cultural and arts experience program "Bitgaram Dorandoran Class" on November 24 and 26 at "Arko Hall" on the first floor of the Arko Naju Main Building, with 50 local residents participating.
"Bitgaram Dorandoran Class" is a joint project of the Bitgaram ESG Council, in which public institutions in the Gwangju-Jeonnam Innovation City participate together. The 2025 winter semester was organized in cooperation with five institutions: the Korea Arts Council, Korea Power Exchange, Korea Teachers' Pension, Korea Internet & Security Agency, and Korea Communications Agency.
The winter semester program featured a pottery experience called "Making an Emotion Color Marbling Plate." In collaboration with a local community workshop, participants were able to express their own colors and complete their works, allowing them to experience artistic sensitivity and emotional healing.
An official from the Korea Arts Council stated, "We plan to continue strengthening ties with the local community through the Bitgaram ESG Council and to keep promoting the creation of social value through art. We will also continue to expand cultural and artistic programs that local residents can enjoy together."
