The Korea Young Entrepreneurs Association (Chairman Shin Sun) demonstrated the potential for expansion into the Southeast Asian market by securing export contracts worth a total of $60,000 at an international expo held in Malaysia.
The association participated in the "Tastefully Expo," held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from November 7 to 10, in cooperation with Balance Dot Co., Ltd., a company specializing in overseas expos and exports. They showcased 20 outstanding products from over 10 member companies. Through active promotional activities targeting visitors and local buyers at the event, they attracted significant attention.

In particular, during pre-arranged business matching consultations with prominent local buyers, K-food products received an enthusiastic response, resulting in on-site export contracts totaling 80 million won. Based on this achievement, the association plans to further expand export channels throughout Southeast Asia, including Malaysia.
Lee Areum, CEO of Nature Bio Lab and a member of the association, commented, "Participating in the expo through the association was a very meaningful opportunity." She added, "Thanks to the enthusiastic support from students at Gwangju University, the signing of MOUs and promotional activities proceeded smoothly, which greatly helped us in pioneering overseas markets." Nature Bio Lab, a youth-led company based in Gwangju, specializes in health foods utilizing fermented soybeans and fucoidan.

Shin Sun, President of the Korea Young Entrepreneurs Association, stated, "This expo reaffirmed the competitiveness of youth enterprise products in the Southeast Asian market. Going forward, we will strengthen cooperation with various organizations to serve as a bridge, enabling more youth-led companies to establish a stable presence in overseas markets."
The achievements at this expo are being recognized as a case that demonstrates the tangible benefits for young and small businesses seeking to enter the global market.
