Ubivelox announced on November 13 that its consolidated sales for the third quarter reached 510.9 billion won, with operating profit at 17.1 billion won. Sales increased by 16% compared to the same period last year.
A representative from Ubivelox stated, "As sales continue to grow in our key businesses such as high-performance smart cards, black boxes, and eco-friendly home appliances, the company's overall scale is steadily expanding. In particular, sales of IoT security/authentication chips and metal cards have grown significantly." The representative added, "Supply volume for BMW's global market has increased, and we have also signed a new supply contract with Mercedes-Benz Korea." Additionally, strong demand for new robotic vacuum cleaners (such as Roborock S9) is driving further sales growth.
Ubivelox is intensively targeting overseas markets to diversify its map platform customer base. Following the recent announcement of starting black box supply to Mercedes-Benz Korea, the company has also been selected as an online partner for distributing Xiaomi's smartphones, tablets, monitors, and seasonal home appliances. Furthermore, according to market research firms, Roborock is expanding its market share in the domestic robotic vacuum cleaner market and appears to be continuously laying the foundation for further growth.
