Yangpyeong County Successfully Holds Civil Petition Monitor Meeting
Discusses Strategies for Advancing Civil Petition Administration
Yangpyeong County in Gyeonggi Province (Governor Jin Jinseon) held a "Civil Petition Monitor Meeting" at the county office's main conference room on the 10th. The meeting was organized as a platform for communication to enhance the quality of civil petition administrative services and to revitalize the operation of the Civil Petition Monitor system. More than 50 people, including Civil Petition Monitor agents and relevant public officials, attended the event.

During the meeting, an award ceremony was held to recognize outstanding Civil Petition Monitor agents who actively contributed to the development of county administration over the past year. This was followed by a session to gather feedback and conduct a demand survey aimed at improving the operation of the Civil Petition Monitor system. The participants engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as effective ways to promote activities, directions for system improvement, and challenges faced in the field.
In particular, attendees shared practical communication strategies to more effectively reflect residents' voices in county administration, as well as a variety of ideas to improve the quality of civil petition administrative services.
Jin Jinseon, Governor of Yangpyeong County, stated, "Civil Petition Monitors play a valuable role as a bridge between residents and the administration. We will continue to actively incorporate the real opinions of Civil Petition Monitors into county policies and do our utmost to provide civil petition administrative services that residents can truly feel."
Meanwhile, Yangpyeong County plans to continue providing systematic support for Civil Petition Monitor activities and to further strengthen open civil petition administration by developing various programs that promote participation and communication.
