The Cheorwon Cultural Foundation is launching the "2025 Small Cinema College Entrance Exam Event: Happiness for 1,000 Won" to encourage students who have completed the 2026 academic year College Scholastic Ability Test and to support their cultural and leisure activities.
This special event allows exam takers to watch the latest movies and use the concession stand for just 1,000 won. It will be held at three small cinemas in Cheorwon (Tturu, Sambuyeon, and Dalbit) for about a month, from November 14, the day after the 2026 academic year College Scholastic Ability Test, through December 14.
The event is available only through on-site ticketing. Students can enjoy a movie and the concession stand A Combo for just 1,000 won by presenting their ID (student ID) and exam admission ticket to staff. Only students who can verify their identity are eligible, and participation is limited to a maximum of two times per person. A stamp will be placed on the paper exam ticket as proof of participation.
Movies scheduled to be screened during the event period include "Predator: Land of Death," "Now You See Me 3," "Wicked: For Good," and "Zootopia 2." The screening schedule is subject to change depending on circumstances.
Shin Jungcheol, Head of Operations at the Cheorwon Cultural Foundation, stated, "We hope that taking a break at the small cinema will provide great comfort and energy to students, and we support all exam takers to feel proud of their efforts and to pursue even bigger dreams."
