On Saturday, the 8th, most regions across the country are expected to be mostly cloudy, with rain falling in several areas. Rain is forecast to continue in most regions through the 9th.
The expected rainfall for the two days, the 8th and 9th, is 10 to 60 millimeters in Jeju Island; 10 to 40 millimeters along the southern coasts of South Jeolla and South Gyeongsang Provinces; 5 to 20 millimeters in Gwangju and South Jeolla Province (excluding the southern coast), as well as in inland areas of Busan, Ulsan, and South Gyeongsang Province; 5 to 10 millimeters in North Jeolla Province and the northern coast of North Gyeongsang Province; and less than 5 millimeters in the five West Sea islands and the Chungcheong region (excluding North Chungcheong Province). In addition, the Yeongdong region of Gangwon Province is expected to receive 5 to 30 millimeters of rain from the 7th through today.
Morning lows are forecast to range from 7 to 15 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs from 14 to 21 degrees Celsius. These temperatures are expected to be somewhat higher than the seasonal averages (lows of 2 to 11 degrees, highs of 14 to 19 degrees), resulting in mild weather.
Fine dust concentrations are expected to remain at 'good' to 'moderate' levels across all regions. However, in South Chungcheong Province, air stagnation may cause levels to reach 'poor' during the early morning hours.
Wave heights are expected to range from 1.0 to 2.5 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the South Sea.
