Hyundai Motor Company won the Best of the Best Award in the Film & Animation category and the Main Award in the Advertising category for the short film 'Night Fishing,' which gained attention at major global film festivals last year. The film 'Night Fishing,' co-produced by Hyundai Motor Company, advertising agency Innocean, and actor Son Sukku, is a short film set at an electric vehicle charging station. It features an innovative filming technique from the perspective of a camera mounted on a car and a novel approach to content, which has drawn the attention of the art world since last year.
In particular, 'Night Fishing' has been recognized as an unprecedented challenge and a successful case of collaboration for a film produced by an automobile manufacturer. The film won the Best Editing Award in the International Short Film Competition, selected by the jury at the 28th Fantasia International Film Festival, and swept the world’s top three advertising festivals, including the Grand Prix at Cannes Lions 2025, as well as the Clio Awards and the New York Festivals.
Additionally, the world’s first robotics-based experiential smart farm, 'CX Smart Farm,' and the Korean restaurant 'Na Oh' at Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Center Singapore (HMGICS) each received the Main Award in the Interior Architecture category.
Other Main Awards went to ▲ the AI-powered free advertising creation platform 'Hyundai Ad Creator,' developed for global employees and dealers, and ▲ the 'One Step Further' campaign, which highlighted the impact Hyundai’s cumulative global production of 100 million vehicles has had on customers’ lives and marked the beginning of the journey toward the next 100 million vehicles.
Furthermore, ▲ the media art piece 'Hydrogen Wave,' which sensuously expresses Hyundai Motor Group’s vision for sustainable future mobility, and ▲ 'Mobilet,' a project jointly planned by Hyundai Motor Company and Innocean that utilized generative AI to present the unique concept of a virtual autonomous driving restroom, also received Main Awards, once again demonstrating their competitiveness.
