Samsung Electronics is launching the Galaxy A17 LTE, a smartphone priced in the 300,000 won range that features enhanced essential performance and built-in artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities, in Korea on November 7.
The Galaxy A17 LTE is equipped with a 169.1 mm (6.7-inch) large display, a thickness of 7.5 mm, a weight of 190 g, a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera, AI features, and a 5,000mAh high-capacity battery.
The device will be available both as a carrier model from the three major mobile carriers and as an unlocked model. It can be purchased at Samsung Store, Samsung.com, mobile carrier online and offline stores, and open markets. The price is set at 319,000 won, and it comes in three colors: black, light blue, and gray.
The Galaxy A17 LTE features a Super AMOLED display supporting up to a 90Hz refresh rate. On the rear, it offers a triple camera setup, including a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera, an ultra-wide camera, and a macro camera, allowing users to capture a variety of scenes such as landscapes and portraits with clarity. The optical image stabilization (OIS) function minimizes shake and light blur when taking photos in low-light environments. The device supports AI features such as Google Gemini and Circle to Search. Samsung Electronics provides up to six OS upgrades and six years of security updates.
Jung Hojin, Executive Vice President and Head of Samsung Electronics Korea, stated, "Samsung Electronics will continue to drive customer-centric innovation to introduce products that reflect the diverse tastes and needs of our consumers."
