Busan Port Authority, in preparation for the winter season, conducted a special inspection of construction sites to promote a culture of construction safety and prevent major accidents, led personally by President Kang Jun-seok.

President Kang Jun-seok visited the Busan New Port North Container Phase 2 Port Hinterland Complex Construction Site and the Gamcheon Port General Wharf (near 3rd and 4th wharfs) Expansion Construction Site to check for any winter-related hazards at each construction site. He also inspected safety measures such as disaster prevention facilities, operation of the construction site work permit system, whether risk assessments were conducted, and the status of their implementation.
In addition, to prepare for the cold winter, he provided cold-weather gear to about 100 construction workers who work outdoors regularly, conveying warm support.
Kang Jun-seok, President of Busan Port Authority, stated, “We conducted inspections in advance to prevent safety accidents at construction sites during the winter season,” and added, “We will also strive to raise safety awareness so that workers at construction sites can work safely without accidents.”
