Buyeo County, Chungnam Province, announced on the 5th that it held an investment promotion briefing session at the Novotel Ambassador Dongdaemun Hotel in Seoul on the 4th.
This briefing session was organized to establish cooperative relationships with foreign companies and investors, targeting about 70 member companies of the Korea Foreign Company Association.
The county introduced its excellent investment environment, including: △ the largest smart farm innovation city and general industrial complex in Korea; △ outstanding historical and cultural tourism resources suitable for hotel and resort construction; and △ the successful attraction of foreign investment companies such as China’s HK POWER Co., Ltd. for the first time in Buyeo County.
In addition, the county emphasized that with the opening of the Pyeongtaek-Buyeo Expressway at the end of this year, accessibility to the Seoul metropolitan area will be improved to within one hour, and that various incentives will be provided if designated as a specialized opportunity development zone for secondary batteries.
The county also announced that if designated as a planned development zone, it will grant full inheritance tax deductions for business succession (for small and medium-sized enterprises) to resident companies.
Furthermore, it will support regulatory exemptions, tax benefits, and improvements to the living conditions of workers.
