It has been another week of the world going "Gangnam Style" and PSY has confirmed that he will belt out the tune half-naked in front of Seoul's city hall.
PSY, who had pledged to dance topless in front of a massive number of crowd if the hit single tops the Billboard Hot 100, said at Seoul's Jamsil Gymnasium Tuesday that he will keep his vow at the Seoul Plaza Thursday at 10 p.m. KST, whether he becomes No. 1 on Billboard or not.
"I'm currently at No. 2 on the chart. My ranking can get higher, stay at No. 2 or fall below where I am," PSY told the audiences as if he knew people were wondering how he feels about waiting for making another history in the K-pop music scene.
"This is already an honorable record that I will keep my words from regardless of the result."
Taken by storm in "Gangnam Style," it is difficult to take the wildest guess how long the popularity will go on and whether this will bring people's attention to his other songs.
To continue the "Dress classy, dance cheesy" spirit, he will also grace the stage at the 17th Busan International Film Festival that begins its 10-day run in the port city of Busan on October 17.
Psy, whose real name is Park Jae-sang, has been perceived as a musician that well blends his unique style into trendy pop music since making his debut with "Psy From The Psycho World" in 2001.
