K-pop group DAL★SHABET's leader Viki has made an announcement that she will leave the team and return with a solo album soon.
Viki, who began her singing career as a member of DAL★SHABET in 2010, posted a copy of hand-written letter on the group's fanclub website this morning that deliveres the news.
Happy Face Entertainment explained more through a press release this morning, saying that Viki will end her group activities with the last performance at the 2012 Yeosu Expo on May 27 and a new member will replace her to maintain the six-member format.
DAL★SHABET's other members -- Serri, Jiyul, A-young, Ka-eun and Subin -- and the veiled member will be rolling out their first full-track album on June 7, the officials noted.
Having released four mini-albums since the debut, their first-ever full-track set will feature 13 summer-influenced songs, including four title songs from each of their past mini-albums, and an intro tune.
Meanwhile, the girls will hold a showcase for the upcoming album in Seoul just a day before the album drop.
