Korean musician Jay Park is ready to hit the road for his promotional tour in Asia this week, with plans to visit five countries in the region.
The "Know Your Name" singer is about to get off to a roaring start with his forthcoming event this Friday, in a bid to celebrate the release of the Japanese version of the first official album, "NEW BREED," his agency sidusHQ announced through a press release on Wednesday.
Starting with the Singapore leg, he will meet with fans in the Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia in May and his last destination, Japan in June, the statement said.
During his visit in Singapore, he will attend the Star Awards, which is an annual awards ceremony to nominate prominent artists in the country, and perform in front of some 6,000 fans at the Marina Bay Sands on Saturday.
In the meantime, Park has been named an honorary ambassador for R-16 KOREA 2012, the sixth World B-Boy Masters Championship hosted by the Korea Tourism Organization, which will officially kick off with its prematch in Seoul on June 23.
