A Korean historical film starring actress Cho Yeo-jung and actor Kim Dong-wook will open in local theaters in three months time, according to the pic's promoter All That Cinema.
On Tuesday, All That Cinema said in a press release that the movie, the title of which translates to "The King's Concubine," will make its premiere on June 6.
The film, helmed by Kim Dae-seung, follows the love triangle between King Sungwon Daegon (Kim), a royal concubine named Hwa-yeon (Cho) and the man she loves played by actor and DJ Kim Min-joon.
Cho made her debut in 1997 as a model for a fashion magazine and has since starred in a number of TV series and movies. She recently played the lead in cable channel tvN's "In Need of Romance" opposite singer and actor Kim Jeong-hoon.
