Top Korean rock band CNBLUE has taken over Oricon's weekly music chart with their second Japanese single.

According to Oricon's official website on Tuesday, CNBLUE's new single "Where you are" sold some 60,000 copies since going on sale on February 1, making them the first foreign band in 41 years to secure the No. 1 spot on Oricon's weekly chart.

The single is composed of the title track “Where you are,” "feeling" which was written and produced by CNBLUE leader Jung Yong-hwa and "Get Away" which member Lee Jong-hyun wrote.

It had placed in first on Oricon's daily chart while the boys held a special release event in the country last weekend which attracted over 12,000 fans.

In the meantime, CNBLUE will embark on a fan tour in Japan starting at the Namba Hatch in Osaka on February 13. The group will then visit several other cities including Nagoya, Tokyo, Yokohama and Shibuya.

CNBLUE, which stands for Code Name Blue, has been a successful and popular band in the K-pop scene as well where they made a debut in early 2010.

The boys, who signed with Warner Music Japan, released their first major Japanese album "In my head" which recently became certified gold after selling over 100,000 copies in just a month of going on sale on October of last year.
