A new image from singer and actor Rain's upcoming film has been revealed.
CJ E&M, producing the movie which recently changed its title from “Red Muffler” to “Take Off: Closer to the Sun” (translated), unveiled an image of Rain glancing back to his fighter jet against the backdrop of a sunset.
In the film, Rain plays the male lead alongside actress Sin Se-gyeong and is joined by actors Kim Sung-soo, Yu Jun-sang and Lee Ha-na.
The pic is a remake of the 1964 Korean movie “Red Muffler," which tells the story of life, love and comradeship of fighter pilots amid the risky situation on the Korean Peninsula.
Producers told 10Asia that the film cranked in on March 13 and they are receiving full support from the Air Force as well as a crew from Hollywood who has participated in filming movies such as “Sky Fighters” (2006), “Dark Knight” (2008), and “Inception” (2010).
