On Thursday, the concert promoter's Moonstone Korea announced in a press release that the 36-year-old singer will visit the country for his concert titled "2011 Frankie J Concert" to be held at the Jangchung Gymnasium in Seoul on January 22 of next year.

The opening acts for Frankie J’s concert will feature Korean artists Woo Eun-mee, a contestant from SuperstarK 2 [Korea's version of U.S.' "American Idol], and upcoming boy band TOUCH.

Born Francisco Javier Bautista, Jr., Frankie J, is a Mexican singer and former member of the musical group Kumbia Kings, which was formed by A.B. Quintanilla III, brother of the late Mexican songstress Selena.

He later signed as a solo artist with Columbia Records and released his first album "What's A Man To Do" in 2003 followed by his first Spanish-language self-titled album. His single "Don't Wanna Try" peaked in the top 10 on Billboard's Hot 100 Singles chart.
