VIP Tickets to Korean boy band B.A.P's showcase in Taiwan has sold off in no time, setting a surprising record as a rookie idol group that debuted only six months ago. G-Music, B.A.P’s Taiwan showcase organizer, had their ticket open on June 30th at noon and sold off around 600 VIP seats in just five minutes, according to TS Entertainment's press release Monday.Fans were reportedly lining up to buy VIP tickets being sold in stores, proving the unusual popularity for a rookie boy band. The officials added that a considerable number of male fans mobbed the place to get their tickets, which hints B.A.P's widened spectrum of overseas fandom.“Since the VIP tickets have been released, we've been receiving overwhelming number of inquiries from fans and interview requests from foreign media outlets. It is very unusual for a newbie idol group to get this much of a hot response.“ A rep from the G-Music was quoted as saying.Meanwhile, B.A.P flew over to Macao this morning to perform at the 2012 K-POP NATION CONCERT opening today, alongside Girls’ Generation, SHINee and U-Kiss. They are then scheduled to hold a showcase in Malaysia on July 6.B.A.P--composed of Bang Yong-guk, Him Chan, Zelo, Jong-up, Young-jae and Dae-hyun--kicked off their singing activities with the debut album, "Warrior," in January. The sophomore album, "Power," dropped in April, showed real power by recording big on online music charts. ※ Any copying, republication or redistribution of 10Asia's content is expressly prohibited without prior consent of 10Asia.
