Korean boy band BEAST's second Japanese single "BAD GIRL" made its debut at No. 3 on Japan's prestigious Oricon daily chart today. Oricon's official website showed that BEAST's "BAD GIRL" sold 21,449 copies upon its release on June 15, following behind local artist KinKi Kids and Korean group Choshinsung at first and second place, respectively.Earlier this week, the boys had held a surprise concert in Japan to celebrate the release of the album which attracted over 5,000 local fans at the Shinjuku station Square in Tokyo. Their first Japanese single "SHOCK," through which BEAST made their official debut in Japan in early May, had placed second on Japan's Oricon weekly chart in mid-March. BEAST made their debut in October 2009 with their first mini-album “"BEAST IS THE B2ST" and has since produced hit songs such as “Bad Girl,” “SHOCK" and “Soom.” Most recently, they had promoted their first full-length album "Fiction and Fact" in Korea since May but will wrap up their activities for it by giving their last performance of title track “Fiction” this weekend on SBS' Sunday music program "Inkigayo." The boys will then resume their promotional activities for "BAD GIRL" in Japan and then start off on their Asia tour which will kick off in Malaysia in July.
