“Smile Again” keeps lead for 7th week on TV chart

KBS daily drama “Smile Again” led weekly TV charts for the seventh consecutive week, according to reports by two media research companies on Monday. “Smile Again” scored an average viewership rating of 38.1 percent on Total National Multimedia Statistics' (TNmS) poll and 37.4 percent on AGB Nielsen Research’s survey, yielding about a one percent improvement from the previous week's chart. In last week’s story, Hotel Camellia president Hong Hae-sook (Kim Ae-ri) burst into tears after learning that her foster parents’ long-lost daughter was Dong-hae’s (Ji Chang-wook) mother Anna. She vows to accept Sae-wa (Park Jung-ah) back into her family in order to keep the secret. State-run broadcaster KBS' daily 9 p.m. news program came next on both surveys, marking an average viewership rating of 24 percent and 23.8 percent on TNmS and AGB's chart, respectively.KBS' weekend drama “My Love My Family” reached third on the chart after yielding average ratings of 21.8 percent and 22.6 percent on TNmS and AGB’s list, respectively. Dong-hoon (Lee Jae-ryeong) expresses disappointment toward his wife Hye-jin (Park Joo-mi) for leaving him out of their money problem and starts having curiosity and doubts about the boss who helped his wife out.
