Queen of hip-hop soul Mary J. Blige will hold a concert in Korea next January, the first stop on her "Music Saved My Life" world tour. On Wednesday, the concert's promoter YESCOM announced in a press release that Mary J. Blige will perform at the Grand Peace Palace at Seoul's Kyung Hee University on January 16. She will then hold a series of concerts in the United States and Europe. Known for her hit songs "Family Affair," "Be Without You" and "I Am," Mary J. Blige is a singer, songwriter, actress and rapper. She has received nine Grammy Awards and four American Music Awards as well as recording eight multi-platinum albums. She has worked and collaborated with various artists including Wu Tang Clan's Method Man, P. Diddy, R. Kelly and Andrea Bocelli. The "Music Saved My Life" world tour will also feature opening acts by Jazmine Sullivan, Miquel, Lemar, Drase and special guest El DeBarge. Tickets for Mary J. Blige's concert will be available on online reservation site Interpark (www.interpark.co.kr) starting tomorrow.
