Ryu Si-won says got good vibe about young Rottyful Sky

Korean star Ryu Si-won said he cast female solo artist Rottyful Sky because he "got a good vibe about her despite her young age."Ryu spoke to reporters during a showcase for Rottyful Sky's digital single "No Way" held at multiplex Coex Megabox in Seoul on Wednesday, explaining how he became the producer for the singer.Rottyful Sky, whose real name is Kim Hanul, had first made her debut in Korea in 2001 at the young age of 13 but Ryu said he had "not thought much about her since she was a child." He met her a few years later again through an acquaintance however, and realized she was Kim when he heard her singing at a get-together."I cast her not just because she is good at singing but because she was very good at expressing her unique appeal and color," Ryu remarked.Ryu, a singer and actor, is kicking off his career as a record producer through Rottyful Sky.The newcomer singer stars as a female warrior in Sony Korea's 3D music video, as part of Sony-sponsored project, helmed by female director Lee Sa-gang who also attended the day's showcase. Rottyful Sky will launch her new singing career tomorrow, unveiling the 3D music video for "No Way" and giving her stage performance at cable music channel Mnet's "M!
