Surpassed 10 Million Units in March Last Year
Approximately 70% of Total Sales Generated Overseas
APR announced on March 4 that its Medicube brand has surpassed a cumulative total of 20 million toner pad units sold in both domestic and international markets.
After reaching 10 million cumulative global sales in March of last year, the company sold an additional 10 million units within just nine months.
Notably, approximately 70% of total sales were generated from overseas markets, demonstrating robust demand for Medicube as a global brand. Toner pads are a convenient skincare product used by gently wiping a toner-soaked pad over the skin. They not only offer immediate hydration but also allow for exfoliation and skin texture refinement without the need for separate cotton pads.
Medicube is expanding its online sales, primarily through major e-commerce platforms such as Amazon. Simultaneously, it is strengthening its presence in offline distribution channels in key countries and pursuing a strategy of diversifying its distribution channels, thereby continuously expanding consumer touchpoints across both online and offline sectors.
Among the toner pad product line, the best-selling item is the "Zero Pore Pad." This product demonstrated its competitiveness in the global market by ranking No. 1 in the entire Beauty & Personal Care category on Amazon during major promotions and Black Friday last year. It has also maintained the top spot in Amazon’s Facial Toners & Astringents category for over a year, from February of last year through the first week of March 2026, sustaining a stable sales trajectory over an extended period.
In October of last year, Caroline Leavitt, White House Press Secretary, who accompanied the President of the United States during his visit to Korea for the APEC Summit in Gyeongju, mentioned the "Zero Pore Pad" as a "recommended Korean skincare product" on her personal social media, revealing her own purchase and further boosting interest among global consumers.
Focusing on the "Zero Pore Pad," Medicube has steadily expanded its main lineup with products such as the Deep Vita C Pad, Red Succinic Acid Pad, Exosome Cica Relief Pad, PDRN Gel Pad, and Kojic Acid Turmeric Vita Toner Pad. By differentiating ingredients and functions, the brand addresses a range of skincare concerns and broadens consumer options within the category.
An APR representative stated, "Surpassing 20 million units in sales is the result of Medicube continuously strengthening its product competitiveness in the toner pad market," adding, "We will continue to introduce differentiated products based on global consumer demand and further solidify our position as a global skincare brand."
