On March 3 (local time), President Lee Jae-myung will present a 'golden Geobukseon model' and an 'Air Force pilot flight jumper' to Philippine President Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr.
According to Cheongwadae, President Lee, who is on a state visit to the Philippines, will deliver these gifts during a dinner with President Marcos and the First Lady that evening.
The golden Geobukseon is crafted by casting the model, refining it by hand, and then finishing it with pure gold plating. Cheongwadae explained, "Through the Geobukseon, which symbolizes the history and technological prowess of Korea's world-class shipbuilding industry, we wish for the strengthening of defense industry cooperation between the two countries."

The Air Force pilot flight jumper is a gift chosen in consideration of President Marcos, whose childhood dream was to become a pilot. The left chest is decorated with the national flags of both countries, and the right sleeve features a '3377 patch' symbolizing March 3, the 77th anniversary of Korea-Philippines diplomatic relations.
For the First Lady of the Philippines, a Jeonghong gold coin norigae adorned with jade, amber, and coral, as well as a set of Korean women's cosmetics from a domestic company, will be presented as gifts.
Additionally, Mrs. Kim Hye-kyung will present a set of K-goods reflecting Korean beauty and sentiment, placed in a traditional box and wrapped with a bojagi, to the First Lady of the Philippines during a separate friendship event.
