New E-Segment Crossover ‘Filante’ to Begin Sequential Deliveries from the Second Week of March
Export Shipments: 847 Units of Grand Koleos, 546 Units of Arkana, 500 Units of Polestar 4
Renault Korea sold a total of 3,893 vehicles in February 2026, with 2,000 units sold in the domestic market and 1,893 units exported.
In the previous month, Renault Korea maintained solid performance by selling 2,000 vehicles in the domestic market. The main driver of these results was the mid-size SUV, the Grand Koleos. The Grand Koleos accounted for 1,474 units sold in February. It is evaluated as raising consumer satisfaction thanks to its spacious interior, efficient fuel economy, advanced convenience and safety features, and robust body safety.
In particular, the Grand Koleos Hybrid E-Tech, equipped with a parallel-serial dual motor drive system, accounted for over 80% of total sales, with 1,181 units sold. Its strengths are cited as the maximum system output of 245 horsepower and an efficient fuel economy of 15.7 km/L (based on the Techno trim's combined official rating).
Interest is also continuing in the new E-segment crossover, the Filante. The Renault Filante had accumulated approximately 7,000 contracts as of the end of February, and deliveries to customers are scheduled to begin sequentially from the second week of March. As a model that combines the strengths of both sedans and SUVs, it features a charismatic design, a “Premium Tech Lounge” interior concept, an upgraded hybrid E-Tech powertrain with a maximum output of 250 horsepower, and advanced AI-based connectivity services.
The coupe-style SUV, Arkana, recorded 336 units sold in February. Among these, the 1.6 GTe model accounted for 285 units, representing about 85% of sales. It offers a combined official fuel economy of 13.6 km/L (with 17-inch tires) and smooth driving performance through the combination of a 1.6L gasoline engine and an Xtronic continuously variable transmission.
The Scenic E-Tech 100% Electric, a compact electric SUV produced in France and limited to 999 units for the Korean market, sold out its entire stock with 150 units sold in February. This model was named the “2024 European Car of the Year” and was also recognized domestically as the “2026 Electric Crossover of the Year” by the Automobile Writers’ Association of Korea (AWAK) and the “2026 Imported Car of the Year” by the Korea Automobile Journalists Association (KAJA). Through this, Renault Korea’s product competitiveness has been acknowledged for both domestically produced and imported models.
Total exports in February reached 1,893 units. Overseas shipments included 847 units of the Grand Koleos (exported as the New Renault Koleos), 546 units of the Arkana, and 500 units of the Polestar 4 electric performance SUV for the North American market.
An official from Renault Korea stated, "We will continue to achieve balanced performance in both domestic and export markets, based on stable sales of our main hybrid models and the effects of new vehicle launches."
