NH Investment & Securities announced on March 3 that it unveiled "NamuX," a next-generation investment service pilot project based on a cross-platform, at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) held in Barcelona, Spain. The newly introduced "NamuX" is designed to simplify the complex structure of existing securities apps and provide a seamless investment experience across various device environments, including mobile, tablet, and PC.
With "NamuX," customers will be able to enjoy an optimized investment experience, as the interface flexibly adapts to the screen size and characteristics of each device. Users can move seamlessly between devices while exploring information, making investment decisions, and executing trades all within a single flow, without interruption.
The AI features have also been upgraded. "Market AI" summarizes market conditions, "Stock AI Summary" delivers the key issues of held and interested stocks in three concise lines, and "Chart Analysis AI" provides easy-to-understand explanations of chart trends. In addition, "Balance Analysis AI"-a portfolio diagnosis function based on the account balance-will be introduced. "Balance Analysis AI" is set to utilize AI to understand users' investment behaviors in context and support their decision-making process.
Furthermore, "NamuX" adopts a cross-platform structure based on a "one source, multi-device" approach, supporting multiple devices with a single codebase. Development efficiency has been enhanced by leveraging an integrated development tool (Lucy Studio) that allows the entire process from design and development to deployment to be implemented within a unified environment.
NH Investment & Securities views the evolution of the platform not as a "functionality competition," but as a "redesign of the experience structure." Kang Minhoon, Head of Digital Business at NH Investment & Securities, stated, "NamuX is the result of focusing not on what more we can add, but on how we can design a unified experience. In the past, we treated market data, account balances, and orders as separate services, but moving forward, we will interpret UX and technology as 'units of investment behavior,' expanding from simple transaction data to behavioral data that captures investment context." Kang added, "To make this possible, finance must be reconfigured as a platform operating on a technology structure."
Namu Securities explained that this pilot launch is an effort to validate the investment experience in a multi-device environment and to test the applicability of cross-platform and AI technologies. The beta version of NamuX is scheduled for release in May, with the official version targeted for launch in the second half of the year.
