Korea Exchange announced on March 3 that it held a commemorative event to mark the 70th anniversary of the opening of the securities market.

This event was organized to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the securities market and to explore the future direction of Korea's capital market as the KOSPI surpassed 6,000 points.
During the first part of the ceremony, Chairman Jung Eunbo discussed key tasks for advancing to a premium market. In the second part, academics and capital market experts discussed new directions for development to achieve the Korea Premium.
Chairman Jung stated, "We will prioritize enhancing trust in the capital market, lead the transition to productive finance, and actively respond to the digital transformation of the capital market to strengthen global competitiveness."
