This is an increase of 80 positions compared to last year.
This recruitment examination will be held in three rounds. In the first round, 197 officials will be selected, with the following breakdown by job category: Educational Administration (General) 130, Educational Administration (Persons with Disabilities) 16, Educational Administration (Low-Income) 4, IT 4, Engineering (Mechanical) 1, Engineering (Electrical) 4, Health 6, Facilities (Architecture) 5, Nursing 1, Records Research 1, Facility Management (General) 20, and Facility Management (Veterans Affairs Office) 5.
The second round (for vocational high school graduates in business) will recruit 3 for Educational Administration, and the third round (for vocational high school graduates in technology) will recruit 1 for Facilities (Architecture).

For the second and third rounds, candidates must have the relevant qualifications as stipulated by regulations and must be recommended by the principal of their respective schools.
This year, the Gyeongbuk Office of Education is expanding opportunities for disadvantaged groups by recruiting 16 persons with disabilities (8%), far exceeding the legally mandated employment rate for persons with disabilities (3.8%).
Furthermore, the office plans to continue supporting local talent by conducting separate recruitment for graduates (or expected graduates) of specialized and Meister high schools, thereby building a consistent pipeline for local youth to enter public service.
Lim Jong-sik, Superintendent of the Gyeongbuk Office of Education, stated, “We will continue to expand public service employment opportunities for socially disadvantaged groups, including persons with disabilities, and actively support youth talents who have graduated from specialized and Meister high schools so that they can fully demonstrate their expertise in public service. We are committed to helping the younger generation enter stable jobs, strengthening local settlement conditions, realizing a warm education environment in Gyeongbuk, and providing educational administrative services that meet the needs of our community.”
