Sustainability Management Report Selected Among World's Top 100 Reports
The National Health Insurance Service announced on March 3 that its Sustainability Management Report received the highest honor, the 'Platinum Award,' at the 'LACP Vision Awards' hosted by the League of American Communications Professionals (LACP).
The 'LACP Vision Awards,' organized by LACP, is an annual competition that has evaluated annual reports and sustainability management reports from government agencies and companies worldwide since 2001, with participation from over 1,000 organizations across the globe.
The National Health Insurance Service achieved perfect scores in 7 out of 8 categories of the LACP Vision Awards-clarity of information, report structure, message to stakeholders, creativity, cover design, first impression, and financial information-earning a total of 99 out of 100 points to win the grand prize. It was also selected among the world's top 100 reports.
Since the publication of its first 'Social Responsibility Management Report' in 2020, this year's fourth Sustainability Management Report highlights the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) management policies of the National Health Insurance Service and was prepared in compliance with international standards. With this award, the organization’s sustainable management achievements based on ESG management practices have gained global recognition.
Jung Ki-seok, President of the National Health Insurance Service, stated, "This award is a result of our efforts to actively implement sustainable management principles being recognized worldwide," and added, "We will continue to create social value and contribute to the environment for a better future."
