All female adolescents aged 11 to 18 in Paju City, please apply for menstrual product support. Provided by Paju City
Eligible recipients are female adolescents aged 11 to 18 who are registered residents of Paju City, hold a foreigner registration, or have reported domestic residence in Paju. They will receive up to 14,000 won per month, totaling a maximum of 168,000 won per year, for the purchase of menstrual products, which will be provided in the form of a local mobile currency. This currency can only be used for menstrual product purchases at designated locations.
Online applications will be accepted starting at 2:00 p.m. on March 5, through Gyeonggi Minwon 24, while in-person applications can be submitted from March 4 at the administrative welfare center corresponding to the applicant's registered address. Subsidies will be distributed sequentially beginning April 20, following eligibility verification, and the review process is expected to take at least two weeks to confirm applicant qualifications.
The subsidy can be used at four convenience store chains registered as affiliated merchants for Paju's local currency (GS25, CU, Emart24, and 7-Eleven) and on the menstrual product specialty mall within the Baedal Teukgeup app (online). Please note that installation and registration with the Gyeonggi Local Currency app are required to use the subsidy at these locations.
Kim Jisuk, Head of the Youth and Adolescent Division, stated, "As we have set the goal of providing universal support to all eligible recipients to enhance youth welfare, we hope that everyone who qualifies will apply and benefit from this program."
